Here’s a clip from the episode on June 30, 2009 of deadliest catch. It was a bad year for ice in the Bering Sea and it’s taking its toll on everyone. This clip features Sig and he looks like hell.

I enjoy watching this show. It reminds me of my dad. He worked aboard fishing vessels throughout New England. My dad spent the majority of his life on the sea, starting at nine years old. He went on to become a US Merchant Marine.
Although he has passed on; this show(along with the stories from the crew)give life to the stories my dad left behind.
