Hello, from Cornelia Marie
Hi, I am Cornelia. The boat was built in 1989 and it was named after me. I have been in the business a long time. I appreciate everyone’s comments concerning the “Deadliest Catch” and I am glad you’re enjoying watching the program. Please stay tuned into this site, as we will have more information concerning merchandise to sell. The boat is through fishing crab and is currently heading to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. We are getting ready to go herring tendering at Togiak which is in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
Thanks,
Cornelia Marie

Hi guys!
We only discovered the show this past season. My husband being an old sailor loves it and I love it because I’m married to an old sailor:-)
I hope all continues to go well with Captain Phil’s recovery and I have to say according to his statement about the ratings had he died, I have to say, you would have lost one viewer. We are very glad you are still there and going!

Hi Phil,
Been watching the show since day one and enjoy every moment. Sorry to see your health problems, stay well. My father built a cabin cruiser from scratch when I was 5. We laid out the keel and chines on the living room floor.
Watching the show brings back memories of back in the day, when we used to go out of San Pedro. I’ve never seen anything like you do on the Bearing Sea, but 13 footers in a 17 footer makes it all relative.
Again stay well, and we want to see you out there for many more seasons.

Hey is it possible for someone to buy a boat like yours and come to Alaska to catch crab? Would you have to buy up other ships quotas? Do ships from Russia fish there also and are they regulated like the USA ships? Get off the smokes Phil. I quit after 20 years of smoking, it is only tuff for the first couple weeks. so make sure they are stress free weeks. Good luck and remember me in your will :P

Phil, I hope you are doing well. I have always enjoyed watching the show, but as a nurse I became interested in following your progress with your pulmonary embolism. I have seen many people do quite well after suffering from them, but I have also seen people die from them. Make sure you follow doctor’s orders, take your blood thinner meds as directed, and get well soon. You and your family are in my prayers.

Hi Phil,
I don’t have a myspace page, but I did want to wish you THE best! My husband and I are praying for your recovery, and that the last 2 months pass quickly for you. You are SUCH a light, a wonderful REAL person, and we are standing by you! We EXPECT to hear wonderful things over the next couple of months about your health. You continue to DO what the doc’s order you to do, so then you can be healthy and do what PHIL wants ( within reason!)! There is a pecking order don’t cha know! Please take care, and DO know that there IS life after divorce. I SWORE I’d NEVER get married again, and then I found my best friend ~ and check THIS OUT! For 3 years we were friends, he was interested in me (I thought of him as just a friend!) and I kept telling him he just WASN’T my type!
Closer to the end of 3 years, I ASKED HIM “So when are we getting married?” LOL! SEE DUDE? Chicks ARE flakey! Just keep that handsome face up, you WILL be fine ~ we have faith!

Love Ya Phil, keep that handsome chin up!

Hi Phil
I hope you continue to improve and are back out there fishing soon. We love you. I noticed you are not smoking anymore in After the Catch. I hope you have quit. I just quit after 49 years of smoking. We hate that the show is coming to an end for this season, it goes back so fast for us. We love watching you all do what you do best. Best wishes to you and the crew

This is the first time I’ve done this – so I’m not sure if it’s right or not! Anyway – Good Luck Jonathan! I quit smoking on the 23rd of April. I used Chantix. It’s still tough at times, but I’m sticking to it – I hope you do too! I love the show, and I’ve watched it since the beginning. One thing that is odd – I watch Ice Road Truckers also, and this season one of their veterans has also gotten a blood clot in his lung. It’s also touch and go for him. I wish you all the luck and I hate that the show is ending so soon!

Hi Phil,
You are in my families prayers that you will continue to get better. We love the show and your boat is one of our very favorites. Follow the doc’s orders and spend a little time taking good care of yourself. I am going to go to your online store and see if I can purchase one of your birdhouses. If not please put them on the store so we can purchase. God’s speed on your recovery.

OMG! NOOOOOOOO! Just for the record, Captain Phil has NOT passed away… On the contrary, he is alive and kicking! His health may not be 100%, but he hasn’t jumped into the grave yet. If you have the time look on my Myspace and see pics I took this past Sunday. You may see some STUDMUFFINS in them that you recognize…
Captain Phil, may you live a LONG, HAPPY, and HEALTHY life; we luv ya!

Um, Phil is alive and doing pretty well! Bonnie posted a recent statement (7/17/08) from Phil on the Discovery Channel Deadliest Catch message board titled “Statement from Capt Phil”. Also, just yesterday she cleared up this awful rumor but the thread was deleted as people were getting upset over it and asked that it be taken down.

I am soooooo happy to hear that Capt. Phil is doing much better. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and crew. I fell in love with Phil and his crew the first season. This show brings back many memories for me, when I was fourteen I spent time on my uncles crab boat tendering salmon in Bristol Bay. I am now 39 years old and I will never forget the time spent in Alaska, wow what an experience. My uncle Lloyd, was in part responsible for my work ethic which I attribute to my time spent on his boat. I appreciate all the trials and tribulations that you go through during each season, hopefully with a great payoff. I love watching your boat and crew and Phil, you are a tough guy. Continue to improve and get well so you can return “health” next season. Tell me the secret, why isn’t there more bleeped out words on the show? When I spent time on the boat my language consisted on four letter words????

Carrie if you think the show’s so gay then why are you on one of its sites? You took the time to log in and, and blog about it. Listen to your own advice and get a life. Speaking of life, why does something like this trivial sh!t bother you so much? We’re all gonna die anyway someday, and none of this will matter. And our hair and nails will keep growing in our graves lol that’s really cool.
