The Deadliest Catch game has gotten a lot of bad press, but in my opinion a lot of that is because a lot of hardcore gamers tend to have the attention span of a hummingbird and thus prefer first-person shooter and other action-type games. Greenwave really went out on a limb and created a game that really breaks new ground in the Simulator genre, where success is based on a lot more on how well you can think through the big picture strategy than how fast you can pound the buttons.

I’m building a fan site at http://www.alaskanstorm.com to try to get the game more of the attention it deserves. I would be honored if you guys dropped by and posted some comments! Let us know: is the game really as realistic as everyone says?

This game’s really funny. But Jake Anderson and Josh don’t work well together. I made Josh the chef. He sucks at it. My boat’s the F/V XO XDAYDREAMX OX
after an Avril Lavigne song, and it’s black with dark red trim. And I cannot find crab at all. It’s awful and my crew hates my guts. T-T Also my crew is Edgar, Jake A. Jake H. Josh and Matt. Edgar complains constantly about Josh’s sh!t on a shingle. It’s funny in a vindictive type of way.
