My heart goes out to both the Anderson and Harris families. Poor young Jake Anderson has been through so much. Capt. Phil, Josh and Jake – you all take care of each other! We know that you are all fighters and strong. I’m glad to hear that Capt. Phil is now awake and grumpy as usual. ;)

Good luck to Capt. Phil and his family. I watch the show every chance I get. I was born and raised on shrimp boats in Biloxi, Mississippi. I know a little bit about what kind of person it takes to make a living from the sea, and I could tell from the first time I watched the Cornelia Marie, that Capt. Phil is really a true salty person. He loves the sea and his boat and will overcome any obstacle to complete a trip at sea. Again, good luck to Capt. Phil and all his family and crew.

From day one I have admired Captain Harris’ strength, honor, loyalty, and sense of humor. I always looked forward to his next adventure with his crew, and I even commented to my husband that you could tell by the look in Phil’s eye that he would never let anything happen to you on his watch. I am greatly saddened by his passing and I will never forget him. For now on when I watch Deadliest Catch, I will do so with a toast to Phil and the Cornelia Marie. God Bless you Phil and your wonderful family.

I don’t think Captain Phil knew how many hearts he touched as a great man he made us all feel like his personal friend that we knew so well. He was so real to all of us in everything he did. He will be missed but never forgotten and I’m sure is in Heaven with God. My prayers will always be with his family and his crew and his boat. America has lost a great man that was a inspiration to us all. Josh and Jake I hope you can work together to teach each other what is needed to share being captain of your awesome boat. Your dad gave you hell sometimes because he was so proud of you and wanted you to be the best. Godspeed and Smooth Sailing forever. My heart and Prayers go out to Jake and the Anderson family. I’m praying for a miracle for you too. God Loves you all so don’t ever forget you all have allot of friends that care. Our prayers will always be with you.

I wish to convey my sincere condolences to the family of the late Dr. Phil. It was my sincere wish and prayers that the Capt. would beat this terrible illness and would come back to the Cornelia Marie stronger than ever. I can truly understand how a power greater than us make that determination and outcome. I will truly miss Capt. Phil the show won’t be the same without him.
