Even know we got to know you all and the dangers out there. We have grown to be a extension of your family. We are sad that we lost Phil. I have always enjoyed watching him and his crew. Even though he is gone. he wont be forgotten. I myself lost my father at the same age and I was too about the same age as the boys. my heart goes out to you both. you will overcome and find in time that his ways will become as you and you will see him in yourselves. you both will carry him on within yourselves. take care and my prayers are with you.

OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS OF WATCHING DEADLIST CATCH , WE HAVE GROWN TO LOVE & RESPECT ALL THESE GUYS. WE ALWAYS REMEMBER TO LIFT THEM UP IN PRAYER WHEN WE KNOW THE SEASONS HAVE STARTED. BUT WE WERE IN TOTAL SHOCK TO HEAR OF CAPT. PHIL’S PASSING & THEN TO SIGN ON HERE & FIND OUT ABOUT JAKE’S DADDY!! THE WORLD HAS LOST ONE OF THE BEST & MOST COLORFUL CAPTAINS & HE WILL BE MISSED BEYOND WORDS. OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN FOR PHIL’S BOYS & JAKE’S FAMILY! BUT ONE TRUE TESTAMENT TO THESE OUTSTANDING MEN & FATHERS ARE THEIR BOYS, BETTER YET THEIR YOUNG MEN!! THEY SHOW THE WORLD WEEK AFTER WEEK THE STRONG WORK ETHIC THAT THEY LEARNED FROM THEIR DADS. NOT MANY YOUNG PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO ENDURE THE PURE HELL THAT YOU GUYS ARE STEADLY PUT THROUGH!! JUST KNOW THAT THE WORLD IS PULLING FOR YOU GUYS & YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

While reading the AOL article of today, 3-11-10, I do have an idea here that I will share. (AOL isn’t accepting comments on new articles right now as they are in the process of re-doing their comment program to make it better.)
I feel that after Keith got his medication, (which some would refer to as ‘drugs’, i.e., oxycontin is a widely-wanted drug that some people would do ‘anything’ for, unfortunately.), he might have been robbed for the medication only, as no bank or credit card activities have been done. This could be a fatal ‘robbery’, and I sure hope that isn’t the case. I feel they should also question the seller, whom they have talked to, more intensely and check into his background and demand to know all of his associates and even customers. (yes, I know, good luck on that!) Maybe threaten him with jail unless he gives things up.
Hopefully there will be some kind of resolution to this case soon. Jake and family surely do not deserve this after all the other stuff they have gone through; the last being the death of Jake’s older sister from complicaitons of pneumonia and her arthritis that she suffered all of her life. How come these sort of things happen to the best, hard-working people out there? It just isn’t fair!
God Bless Jake and the Anderson family and let’s support them in any way we can! Thanks ….

It is July 21 , 2010 and I just watched the show with Phil’s funeral and memorial. It really was a beautiful send off.
I didn’t understand the meaning of the bell being rung 8 times. The Cage of Crab was a tear Jerker, and it all reminded me of you and your dad. I hope that you and your family have found a answer by now and have some peace of mind. You and your family are in my prayers. I never write to people like this but you could be one of my kids. My daughter and her husband just left here after a 2 week visit. Maybe i am sentimental right now.
You are a hard working young man and someone will be lucky to have you as a hubby some day. all the best, Kathy
