Just a quick note to answer some questions. We’ve been asked if we sell the t-shirts worn at the Capt. Phil Jazz Funeral in New Orleans. We sell one of them, the one seen here by Mike Rowe… and “No”, Mike Rowe does not come with the t-shirt:) This t-shirt just hit our stores yesterday along with this new, cool “Blue print” t-shirt featuring the F/V Cornelia Marie fishing vessel.
The t-shirt featuring a picture of Capt. Phil is not for sale by us. I’m guessing that the T-shirt was made specifically for the event. Since the passing of Phil, we’ve been asked to make a t-shirt that was in memory of Capt. Phil. If it is done tastefully and the proceeds go to a worthwhile cause, then maybe it would be appropriate. Perhaps, we’ll do something for the upcoming “Commercial Fishermen’s Festival” in Astoria. Check out their Facebook page, they are a good cause and I hope to promote them soon with a blog entry here on the website.

Y’all should check out the Discovery store! I was able to find a similar shirt to these in there with a portion of the proceeds going to the Seattle Fisherman’s Memorial Fund!! KEWL!!! I bought 3 (myself, my hubby, & my bro in law!) They’re taking pre orders now with the shirts to ship at the end of the month.

Although I never knew him besides on TV, i was very struck by his personality and his obvious deep devotion and love for the boys. Really is the perfect shirt, please let us know if they become avaialable.
