I am a late comer to the show and have only recently started watching back episodes. The thing with TV is that everyone and everything feels so “now”, even if it happened months or even years ago. For me, the “recent” loss of Capt. Phil is very sad, and despite my late arrival, my condolences to the family (both direct family and the ‘extended’ family of which I now feel a part), is totally sincere.

RIP my friend.

Captain Phil’s Deadliest Catch is what I mostly watch on Discovery Channel. His adventure are totally great and it is sad to see him go.

My daughter who is 12 years old is a big fan of Deadliest catch was sad to hear there will be no more Captain Phil.
