Deadliest Catch Preview

preview_clip_5-12-09This is a clip of tonights episode of “Deadliest Catch”.  Quick thinking and nimble feet keep deckhand Russ from being taken overboard by a waveswept pot.  The guys are joking about it after it happened, but the truth is that guys have died that way – by getting their foot caught in the loop of a line and then getting dragged over board.  I was taught at a very young age never to stand on line – no matter what.  Even when there’s no chance of danger when you’re at port – never stand on line!  BTW- Somebody needs to tell our narrator, Mike Rowe, that there is no such thing as “rope” on a boat, only “line”.
