NO WAY, I can’t believe his reign is over. There are only a few good men in the world and this man was 1 of them, I have utmost respect for Captain Phil and crew, I hope you can find some peace and this world and the show won’t be the same without him.

We were shocked and saddened to read the news about Phil. We pray for his boys Jake and Josh. We watch Deadliest Catch all the time-re runs too and will continue to do so. RIP Captain Phil. God Speed, and God bless your family.

Jake and Josh,
I am so shocked that your dad didn’t make it. I really thought he was going to pull through cuz he is such a fighter. He was a large part of the reason I watched the show and it will be sad to not see him or hear him cuss you guys out or see what practical joke he was scheming for the boats out there.
Please know you are in my prayers in this sad time. As time goes by maybe you can look back on all the memories you have of your “pops” and smile and laugh instead of sadness. We are pulling for you two and the rest of the Cornelia Marie crew as we know that was also part of Phil’s family too.

Huge loss for the brothehood of Bering sea Groundfish Industry. Now with Phil gone no longer around to wipe his boy’s butts sounds to me they may hav to man up and put forth real work ethics. Big diference from thinking yor a pro.

It is with great sadness that I offer my deepest sympathy for the Harris Family and the crew of the Cornelia Marie. Deadliest catch is one of the greatest Reality shows on any network. Real life, real people, and real situations. We got a peak into the lives of real people in some extreme situations. Though I did not know Phil personally, I feel as if I have known who is and what he is all about for the past few years. A man who loved a good joke. A man who took pride in his two sons. A man who would not give up when the fishing pressure was heavy on his shoulders.
God speed Captian Phil Harris. You will be missed.
