Follow up to our King Crab winner

captphilphotoThe winner of the “King Crab Christmas Feast” contest we held in December was nice enough to send us some photographs of their big family dinner.  The winner was Ferris Sanders, a loyal watcher of “Deadliest Catch” and of course a supporter of the Cornelia Marie, Capt. Phil Harris and crew.  Ferris shared the crab with her family and said they had a wonderful Christmas.

The family thanked us a lot and we appreciate it.  But, it’s us who thank them and everyone else who support our boat and the crab industry.  It’s so great that through the “Deadliest Catch” show, folks now realize what my family and others have gone through in commercial fishing in Alaska.

A big thanks also goes out to Fishex.com, who donated the crab for the contest.  If these pictures make you hungry (like me) and you want to order some crab – please check out Fishex.com.  The owner is an Alaska fishermen turned entrepreneur.  He cares about his customers and I’m happy to recommend him.
