July 4th with Capt. Phil and Cornelia Marie
Capt. Phil Harris and Cornelia Marie Devlin will be spending their Fourth of July at the “Alaska Aviation Museum Salmon Bake & Fly By”. This is a charity event to help raise money for the museum. Talk about your fearless men – the early bush pilots in Alaska were quite the guys.
Also, there is a raffle currently underway which presents the prize of having dinner with Capt. Phil and Cornelia Marie at Humpy’s in Anchorage. (Good food there).
This will be the first time my mother will do a public appearance. As you may know, Cornelia Marie Devlin owns the boat with Capt. Phil.
Saturday, July 4th, 2009 3 pm-8 pm

It would be a change of a live time to have dinner with Capt Phil and Cornelia Marie. I would love it. It is hard to get to the events that they have when you live in Florida. Capt Phil is my hero. And I would love to meet him. Please pick me. Hope to see you soon. Thank You

It would be a thill of a lifetime and a honor to share a meal with you.
I have loved fishing all my life, even though my experiences are in a small boat and or bank. Rain or snow I love the excitment of pulling in the “big” one. I made my sons when they were little sit on the bank with little fishing poles in all weather just so I could have a better chance of catching something. There never did enjoy fishing like me. I even caught a northran pike longer than I am tall. My brother-in-law even had to bait my hook one year as my fingers were frozen and I just didn’t want to quit fishing. To have you share your stories would mean a great deal to me. Visiting Alaska would be fantastic as well.
Hope you pick me, I’m a real hoot to be with and I would truely appreciate a chance to win something before I die.

Capt. Phil,….I watch you and your boat/crew on the Discovery Channel. I’m just a “land lubber” from Arkansas but you have my utmost respect and admiration on what you do for a living…I would love to see your operation but alas I’m afraid I’m too far removed. I have some old pics that my uncle took of Dutch Harbor when he was stationed there during WWII and it looks as cold then as it does on your boat now. Please be careful!!!! What you do looks (AND I KNOW IS!!) dangerous. I hope ya’ll can stay on the air for several more seasons…a good friend in AR, don eastman

Hey..
No matter what You and the crew have my respect.
I lived in Alaska from late 76 until late 87.
I had the personal living time of my life in Alaska and your current tribulations show what the entire state has been about.
Nothing in Alaska lasts five minutes.. if you think that it might.. wait 30 seconds.
Ever since I left I have wished to go home.. at least to the correct coast.
I moved to pennslyvania back in the day to save my daughter from being an orphan of the courts.. (I believe w you might imagine why!)
None of my friends on this side of the world agree on crab.. They all spend thier time whacking little crab legs with a little mallet and call it good.
I treated my femme friend to some king crabs legs at Harrison’s Harbor Watch in Ocean City Maryland.. (They were frozen but what can you expect over here.) Now she refuses to eat the ‘Little crabs’ anymore.
It would be nice to have the opportunity to show her what the whole deal is all about. She’s a East coast farm girl and “loves” roller coasters..
Having crewed on a short timer out of Dillingham.. I told her has never seen the like. We started watching the show and I like your full on press no BS this is real approach.
With much respect

Hi again. I forgot to ak you all something…
for the best of me I can’t figure out how the crab get in the cages and why don’t they crawl back out the way they came in? I know I know stupid questions, but please explain it to me. It drives me nuts everything I watch your show and even the After Show. No one has ever explained it.
That’s guys, your the best!

this is a great show and was surprised when I learned that cornelia Marie was part owner of the vessel. Since then I’ve watched the show quite often and have to take my hat off to Capt. Phil for keeping that vessel and crew together. Cornelia is and old friend from Yakutat and classmate from Sheldon Jackson College.
