To Mrs Cornelia Marie, the two boys Jake and Josh and the family. From Capt. Barry Furniss Master of the M/V East Wind and the crew we would like to express our condolences. We are thinking of you as we sail from Sidney to New York. Our ships Pastor has been giving a few prayer sesions all day to day in favour of the family and whish you all well and God Speed. May Capt. Phil Harras rest in peace. None of us know Capt phil very well apart from what has been screened on tv and the web site.
To Jake and Josh keep up the good work and I do trust that the two of you will follow in your father’s foot steps. Guys please do keep your heads up high, be strong in mind and do not give up you can do it. life is tough but not so tough that we can not deal with the natural eventuallities of life.

DC is first on our TV – marathons run all day! Captain Phil’s the best man in this or any other fleet! Nearly gave me my own heart attack when he got sick. Wanted to pitch his cig’s overboard myself. So very glad he’s better. Hope his ever-lovin’ wife is feeling a bit more herself after the scare he gave her! May the Lord always bring you experienced crews, full pots and calm seas!

Phil, you’re the reason we watch DC. Well, Andy and Jonathan too, but you’re the man.

We felt so disconnected without the internet for awhile, and we were extremely anxious to hear of how you were doing and whether or not you were coming back. We are SOOOOOOOOOOO happy you’re back where you belong, bein’ the best damn crab fishin’ Captain in the fleet. Hope all is wellm you’re feelin’ good, and you’re enjoying the summer. Washington is worth the rain, eh?
