CATCHCON 2009 WRAP-UP
The Corneliamarie.com crew showed up to check out CatchCon 2009 on Saturday. Captain Phil and his son Josh were at the event. I know many fans and visitors to our site wished they could attend. Hopefully, the Discovery Channel will make accomodations for more people if they decided to do it again. I met the editor of threesheetsnw.com at the convention and their website did a great write-up of the event. Click here to read what happened. Below is an excerpt from the Q & A with the Captains.

Catch Con was AMAZING. It was almost too much to absorb in such a short period of time!
We got to board the Wizard and Northwestern and get our pics taken on deck as well as meet crew and captains from other boats.
My two biggest smiles of the day:
#1 I finally got to see Capt. Phil again after so many months and get a long overdue hug.
#2 I finally got to meet Capt. Andy! OMG… he’s just the nicest man; made my day.
It was amazing to meet so many other fans who were until then, just a name on the computer. This was a wonderful experience for all.
I thank Discovery Channel for the opportunity!
