Capt. Phil was the most unique individual I think I have ever watched on tv. His humour, stong perserverance, drive, and leadership are an inspiration to many in his field and in the world. I know I will truly miss watching him and I am very sorry I never had the chance to meet him. Jake and Josh, don’t ever forget that your dad truly loved you both. He made that very clear to the world ever time he was on camera. You both were and still are, his true pride and joy. If you ever make it to clearwater florida I would be honored to be able to meet you both. Just email me and let me know you are coming and I will make sure to take you both out for the best steak you could ever have. Be well and my best wishes to you both and the crew of the Cornelia Marie.

Capt, a tough old bird like yourself will be back in action, so keep your head up! I’ve been through a lot with my health and I’ve wanted to give up a few times, but everytime I look at my children it gives me the strength to keep on fighting. Get well soon man. You have crab to catch!

That Fart bubble idea is probly true i was laughing so hard i about S**T A BRICK!! I have to say between the Fart Bubbles & you chewing out DING & DONG i stay laughing and i have been thru alot of illness myself with my cancer and all but when i watch the show and my Deadliest Catch Dvds the joy i get just brighten my day up.But i believe the fart bubbles worked look at the crab counts!! Plus it sure raised the crew moral up and if Freddie believed ya and said “SWEET” then iot is true then So keep smelling the Fart Bubbles i have the fart bubble video on my website and the members say that it is the favorite video. KEP ON CRABBIN!! CRABDIADA CRABDIADA CRABCRUSHIN CRABDIADA!!
