You guys are the best of the best. I would love to sit and have a beer with all of you. I admire the will and determination of all of you guys. Phil, you are without a doubt the best skipper out there. I respect all the skippers because I could never do it, but Phil you have the guts to do and say what you mean and that is what makes a great leader. Josh and Jake you guys are very lucky to have a Dad like him even though he may be tough to deal with! I just can’t say enough good things about you guys, and I would never have even known about you if it weren’t for the Discovery channel series. I have never been as excited about a TV show as I am yours… keep up the great work and keep the barnacles down!

Have been watching the show since it started. Unbelievable what you do. The courage and the knowledge to do it is greatly appreciated by me and all your fans.
How did the name Cornelelia Marie come about? I would assume Cornelia Marie Collins had something to do with it. Well what a great Captain she has.
If you or anyone you know needs any financing (residential, construction, or commercial) keep me in mind. I have alot of experience. I’ll treat you and yours right.

    Be safe : )

It’s a great pressure-reliever watching the men fishing, especially the family dynamics on the Cornelia Marie-I was really touched by Phil’s patience with his boys. Thanks, guys!

    Capt. Phil,
Just want to let you know I just started watching you all the last 2 seasons you did.(Opie & othelio).I’m hooked.
I never watch the Discovery channel much till some of the folks on 1 of my websites(fishsniffer.com) started talking about it & now I have your show set in my reminders on my satellite network.
The only problem I have w/watching you is,it ussaully costs me cuz my lady ends up wanting to go get some grabLOL
I wish I was about 20 or so years younger I’d have to come up & see if I was tuff enough to fish w/you or 1 of the other great skippers you all fish with.Unfortunally at 51 yrs old & a bad back I’d be doing good just to run the galley & make sure the great crews you guys have, had good hot meals for youLOL.
Now being a fairly serious recreational fisherman down here in N. Cal. I wish I had just half the knoledge of my fisheries as you guys have of yours.
Please pass my thoughts on to all the other skippers & crew & let them know how much I appreciate what they do & go through.
I’m working on setting up my own forums website & would be honored to have you & the rest of the skippers & crews join us.It’s going to hopefully eventually cover most anything outdoors, fishing, hunting, prospecting & anything else that might might be of interest to anyone who enjoys things in the outdoors. So keep your eyes open for lonewolfoutdoor.net I have the name registered, just trying to learn how to get it set up & online
Thanks for what you do & know you all are in our prayers here along w/our vets & every other hard working, risk taking american doing what they do to make America the great country it is.
    Paul

Cute David Spade spoof. The first time I watched the show was when I heard Mike Rowe’s voice and thought I was missing Dirty Jobs, then I saw it wasn’t and I have watched ever since.
Its like my high sea soap. You guys rock, if you are ever in Florida, you have a home cooked meal waiting !!

Great Stuff Lads enjoy your show, I worked from the UK in the 1960′s fishing up in Icelandic waters, and believe me I know what icing up and storms are like, we lost a lot of trawlers, no sleep for days and 3 – 4 weeks at sea, you earn every penny. What do your ships fish for when they are not on the crab?

Love the video. In reading blogs here and on the discovery channel site I think its funny that so many of us fans are midwestern soccer moms. Alot of us are RNs as well.(16 yrs ICU. I too deal in life and death every day that I work. Just fortunatly not my own.LOL :)) The closest we’ll probably get to the Berring Sea is the frozen seafood aisle at Sams Club:)
I’ll pray for you come Oct and again in Jan for full pots and a safe return. Until then keep the reruns coming! You guys are fun to watch. Ive been watching since the begining.
