Cornelia Marie Devlin

Cornelia is an owner of the boat and partner with Phil.  She resides in Anchorage, Alaska and has worked in the fishing business since 1979.  She handles the daily business for the F/V Cornelia Marie.

Phil Harris

Phil has captained the F/V Cornelia Marie for 17 years. After
thirty years of crab fishing, he still loves the challenge of filling
the crab pot. When not at sea, Phil resides in Seattle, Washington and
can be seen cruising the highways of Washington on his Harley-Davidson.

Current Crew

Freddie Maughtai

Freddie, our Samoan fisherman; has been fishing for more than 17 years. He is an experienced deck hand; with the F/V Cornelia Marie off and on since the early 90’s. During the off-season, Freddie lives in Idaho with his family.

Jake Harris

Captain Harris’s younger son from Seattle, Washington, serves as deckhand
beside his father on the F/V Cornelia Marie for a fourth season.  In the
summer Jake fishes halibut aboard another vessel, and he has fished cod
with his grandfather, Grant.

Josh Harris

Josh is Captain Harris’s oldest son.   Josh cod fished and worked in processing plants prior to joining his family aboard the vessel.  To learn more about Josh, read this great conversation with him and Phil here.

Steve Ward

Steve joined the Cornelia Marie for the 2009 Opilio fishery.   He’s an experienced fishermen and the boat’s Engineer.  More later.

Ryan Simpson

Ryan is our current green horn.  He’s 27 years old, originally from Anacortes, Washington.

Past Crew Members

Murray W. Gamrath, III.

Murray is from Las Cruces, New Mexico and has fished the frigid Bering Sea for more than 25 years. Murray has worked on the F/V Cornelia Marie intermittently since 1990;
as deckhand, engineer, and relief skipper.

He was born and raised in Washington state, but now enjoys the warm weather of New Mexico with his family during the off-season. He is currently working on opening a coffee shop in New Mexico. His hobbies include motorcycle riding and jet skiing.

Corey Eisenbarth

Dave Millman

Dave has been living in Kona, Hawaii with his family for many years.  He travels back and for to Alaska to crab fish every season.
He grew up in the fishing industry aboard his father’s boat, the F/V Four
Daughters, out of Kodiak, Alaska.  Dave first worked on the Cornelia Marie in 2001 and worked many years aboard before leaving in 2008.

Mark Anderson

Mark is from Blaine, Washington. He was an engineer, and deckhand on the F/V Cornelia
Marie and has been on fishing vessels for years.

Roger Jensen

Roger is from Seattle, Washington, has fished the Bering Sea since 1985. He was hired
by the F/V Cornelia Marie in 1991 and has worked as deckhand, engineer,
and relief skipper. Roger holds numerous licenses within the fishing industry,
making him an invaluable asset aboard any boat.

Dan Gilbert

Dan fished as a deckhand on the F/V Cornelia Marie during season 2. He owns a seine boat in Kodiak, Alaska .

Walt Dauderis

Walt was the boat’s engineer on season 2; when the F/V Cornelia Marie had lots of engine trouble.
